The MiniMax 100 heater is a compact, self-contained unit with an output of 100,000 BTU's and a high 82% thermal efficiency that keeps operating cost low while directing more produced heat to your pool instead of into the outside air.

MiniMax features a patented thermostatic bypass valve which minimizes condensation-related calcium scaling and corrosion preserving heat transfer efficiency, quiet, dependable operation from proven burner system and a service-friendly design that includes a bronze header system for long life and union connection fittings for fast draining and easy winterization.

Equipped with an electronic direct spark ignition for automatic control, and a simple plug-in 120V electric cord for easy installation.

(More customer reviews)I just purchased this device. $169 at local pool supply store.I cannot tell if it works.It's not very sophisticated and seems simple to assemble, but a crucial piece (side connector - connects heater to tube that leads to filter) does not fit into the main piece.It is supposed to easily slide in, turn 1/4, and lock into place. I'll have to modify it slightly to make it work. Disappointing.
